A copper alloy finger ring constructed from a single length of wire with a knot forming the bezel. The lower part of the band is the thickest. The thickness of the wire is between 2.28 - 1.55mm.
This ring is very difficult to date. Similar rings are known in the early medieval period but this example could be far more recent.

The worn openwork bezel of a silver-gilt late medieval finger ring, now worn, depicting the upper part of a winged angel holding a sacred heart.
Similar finger-rings depicting angels holding hearts have been recorded as Treasure. See examples: SOMDOR-D9E932 (2005 T100); WILT-2C75F1 (2005 T111); NLM-8C14E1 (2008 T765); IOW-B20064 (2009 T184); IOW-0C8243 (2013 T847); and IOW-2E6B43 (2011 T2).

Gold finger ring with banded agate intaglio set into the oval bezel with moulded scrolled motifs on the sides of the bezel. The hoop was probably cast as a standard pattern, and then the intaglio separately commissioned and fitted to the bezel.
The banded agate is dark brown with a white band which divides the two devices that are engraved into the stone. Diameter: 17.6mm. Weight: 1.03g. DA=12:10-11.
The annulet stops are worn and look like pellets.
