A complete Roman copper-alloy tripod mount which depicts a forward facing male bust. The bust has moulded facial features with prominent annulet-like eyes. The moulding encompasses the whole object which implies it is intended to be viewed in 3 dimensions. The bust exhibits short curly hair in a neat style with a pronounced fringe and the top of the head has an incised saltire. A substantial L shaped hook emanates from the lower rear side of the bust. A Roman copper alloy trumpet brooch. Dating to the period AD75-AD175. The oval trumpet head is plain apart from an incised line around the circumference. There is a small oval projection from the centre of the top edge of this oval. The bow has two ribs with a crude semi-circular acanthus moulding below, and beneath that an incised line. Roman (AD c. 69-96) T-shaped brooch: The copper-alloy brooch has a cylindrical crossbar with a copper-alloy axis bar within. The crossbar has a central slot on the reverse to allow the pin to be hinged, and only a fragment of the pin remains. The outer face of the wings are undecorated and incomplete.
