Incomplete post-medieval silver bodkin (head-dress pin). A spoon terminal lies above a teardrop-shaped neck with a round aperture below which a straight-sided rectangular-sectioned shank with a rectangular slot is decorated on both faces with transverse and oblique engraved lines and a very lightly incised elongated V. The broken end is bent. Extant length 47.5mm. Width 5.2mm. Thickness 1.6 - 2mm. Weight 3.30g. 17th century.

An incomplete cast copper alloy double looped buckle of Post-Medieval date. The remainng loop is oval in plan and the buckle frame is D-shaped in cross-section. The outer frame is decorated with a moulded roundel. Two more roundels decorate either end of the strap bar. The pin and the second loop of the object are missing. The strap bar is narrowed. The buckle has a dark brown patina which has flaked away in places.
Similar examples can be found in Whitehead, (2003), p63, no. 376-378 and have been dated to c. AD1550-1650.

An incomplete copper alloy fragment, probably from a double loop oval buckle frame with openwork decoration, probably of Early Post Medieval dating (c. AD 1550 to c. AD 1660).
The fragment consists of a triangular knop above two parallel circular perforations (holes). These hole are located above a swelling, which may been perforated horizontally. Two more parallel circular perforations are present underneath, now incomplete.
It measures 16.5 mm in length, 9.0 mm wide and 4.8 mm thick. It weighs 1.4 g.
The fragment is a dark green colour, with an even surface patina. Abrasion…
