Complete copper-alloy and gilded hinged book fitting of late post Medieval to Modern date. The fitting consists of two flat plates hinged together with a cylindrical pin. It is circular in plan, flaring at the upper edge, with a concave upper surface and protruding central pointed boss. A copper alloy sheet metal repair rivet for a vessel from the Medieval to early-post-Medieval periods, circa mid 15th to 16th century. It is sub-rectangular in plan. The patch has been constructed from a lozenge-shaped sheet, with the opposing ends folding inwards towards the centre and then the pointed ends were passed through the split and folded back. In the centre near to this two small round holes are placed transversely. Three punched ring-and-dots are arranged similarly (two dots have penetrated the metal). Medieval copper alloy buckle, a composite object comprising a rectangular frame with a pin notch, and a pin with a tubular base through which an iron bar or swivel extends. Frame 28.8 x 16.6mm. The tubular part of the pin has been split by the swelling and disintegration of the iron bar.
