A Roman copper alloy sestertius of Maximinus I (AD 235-8), probably dating to AD 235 (Reece Period 11), FIDES MILITVM, Fides standing left, holding two standards. Mint of Rome. RIC IV, pt. 2, p. 144, no. 43; BMC VI, p. 222, cf. nos. 2-3. It does appear that this coin has the early portrait of Maximinus, placing it in the AD 235 issue. Dimensions: diameter: 26.53 mm; weight: 10.67g.
