A complete copper alloy strap end dating to the 9th or 10th century, in good condition with an even green/blue patina. The strap end is plain but has a worn zoomorphic terminal and two pairs of transverse engraved bands across the upper face of the body. The attachment end is split and has holes for two rivets.

A cast lead seal matrix of Medieval date. It is pointed oval in form, trapezoidal in section and with a large transverse crack at the centre of the seal that almost splits it in two as a result of post-depositional damage. At the top of the back face is an integral lug that is semi-circular in form and from which extend raised outer and inner borders that are pointed oval in form. A complete lead spindle whorl of medieval to post-medieval date. The spindle whorl is bi-conical with a central perforation running through it. Both surfaces are decorated with raised lines radiating from the central perforation resulting in irregularly sized trapezoidal cells with between two and three pellets within each. The metal is a mid whitish-brown colour and is worn. The spindle whorl is 29.2mm in diameter, 10.5mm thick and weighs 33.6g. The perforation is 8.3mm in diameter. A complete lead alloy musket ball dating to the Post Medieval period, dating from AD 1600-1800. The object is sub-spherical in shape and slightly irregular with a semi-circular holllow on the surface, suggesting the object could have been fired. It is cream and light grey in colour. The object is 13.5 mm in diameter and weighs 13.49 g. The mass suggests that it was used in a small musket (Harding 2012).

An incomplete Medieval copper-alloy composite strap-end (c. 1350-c. 1400). The strap end is composed of two sub-rectangular sheets which have abraded edges, and a complete copper alloy spacer, which is visible on the sides. The attachment end of the sheets is incomplete and abraded. There are no rivets on the surviving parts and the sheets are soldered to the spacer. At the terminal end there was a small pointed knop.
