An almost complete copper alloy dolphin brooch of Roman date. The head of the brooch is comprised of tubular wings with circumferential ridged decoration towards the tips. A small length of axis bar remains within the wings with a loop for the pin remaining in situ. The pin proper no longer remains. An elongated D-sectioned bow extends centrally from the front of the wings curving up steeply before turning back downward and tapering steadily in width to a broken and worn pointed terminal. A seemingly complete copper alloy head, of late Iron Age date. The head is hollow and spherical with moulded features consisting of eyes, eyebrows, nose, mouth, ears, jaw line and hair. The eyes are formed by ovate perforations which are downturned at the outer edges. Large semi-circular ridges representing eyebrows are present above the eye recesses which arch downward, joining between the eyes, and continuing to form the raised triangular nose complete with semi-circular indentations for nostrils at the base. A complete lead spindle whorl of medieval to post-medieval date. The spindle whorl is bi-conical with a central perforation running through it. Both surfaces are decorated with raised lines radiating from the central perforation resulting in irregularly sized trapezoidal cells with between two and three pellets within each. A complete copper alloy strap fitting of medieval date. The fitting is sub-triangular with one straight edge and two slightly curved edges. Spherical knops project from either end of the flat edge with slightly narrowed waists suggesting the fitting may have functioned as a type of hinge or swivel. The object is undecorated. The metal has a dark greenish-grey patina and is worn. The fitting is 32.4mm long, 21.4mm wide, 3.8mm thick and weighs 5g.

An incomplete copper alloy vessel fragment of medieval to post-medieval date. Only the handle remains which is V-shaped with a circular section and fluted, flat topped terminals to either end. The handle is undecorated and both terminals are worn. The metal has a dark greenish-brown patina. The handle is 84.4mm long, 13.6mm in diameter (24.6mm in diameter at widest terminal) and weighs 122g. This handle is likely to be from a large cooking vessel such as a cauldron and dates from c. An incomplete copper alloy purse frame of post-medieval date. Only a section of the semi-circular frame remains with an incomplete circular terminal to one end and a worn break to the other. The frame is D-shaped in section with a rectangular flange with four remaining perforations projecting from the reverse by which the frame would have been fitted to the fabric of the purse. The outer curved surface of the frame is decorated with an incised cross-hatched design. The metal has a mid greenish-brown patina and is worn. The purse bar is 76.7mm long, 8mm wide, 3.1mm thick and weighs 14.9g.

An incomplete copper alloy purse bar of post-medieval date. Only a section of one arm of the purse bar remains and is circular in section with worn breaks to either end. The worn remains of a flat flange with two semi-circular perforations (representing the remains of attachment holes) projects from the underside of the remaining bar. The decoration on the bar consists of a widely spaced incised cross-hatched design. The metal has a mid green patina and is worn. The purse bar is 52.9mm long, 6.8mm in diameter and weighs 14.1g.

An incomplete copper alloy purse bar of post-medieval date. All that remains is the loop which is ovate with a D-shaped section. A spherical knop projects from the lower end of the loop which would have fitted into the purse bar proper. The loop appears undecorated and is very worn. The metal has a mid green patina. The object is 38.4mm long, 20.7mm wide, 6.6mm thick and weighs 9.5g.
