A complete Medieval to Post Medieval cast, lead alloy uniface token, dating to c. AD 1250-1800; Powell type 14. The token is decorated on one side with a raised cross. The other side is undecorated and flat. The token is of a greyish-white colour. It measures 20.0 mm in diameter, 2.8 mm thick and weighs 5.7 g.
Tokens were easy to make and distributed widely throughout a large period of time; therefore, they are difficult to date precisely.

A complete Post Medieval cast, lead alloy uniface token, dating to c. AD 1550-1800; Powell type 2. The token is decorated on one side with a raised 'B'. The other side is undecorated and flat. The token is of a greyish-white colour. It measures 19.4 mm in diameter, 2.2 mm thick and weighs 3.6 g.
Tokens were easy to make and distributed widely throughout a large period of time; therefore, they are difficult to date precisely. Those with initials are thought to date to the Post Medieval period.

A Post Medieval cast copper alloy double-looped buckle, likely dating to the sixteenth to seventeenth century AD. The buckle consists of two symetrical D-shaped loops which are bevelled, with a central strap bar. The buckle is plano-convex; both loops are bent upwards from the strap bar and appear to have moulded decorative grooves on the outer side of each loop, although they are unclear on one half due to corrosion. A complete Medieval cast copper-alloy single loop buckle, dating to c. AD 1250-1500. The buckle frame is D-shaped with a narrowed and offset strap bar; the sheet pin is still present wrapped around the pin bar. It is D shaped in section with a flat back. The pin narrows to a point. The outer and inner edges of the frame have been bevelled. The buckle measures 11.3mm long, 15mm wide, 2.5mm thick and weighs 1.28 grams. It has green patina and shows the remains of being silvered. see Whitehead ( 2003), p19, no. 53. for a similar buckle.

An almost complete Post Medieval cast copper alloy mount, which gilt with silver and likely dates to the seventeenth century AD. The mount is heart shaped at one terminal and the other has an elongated corded bands, which are slightly damaged and therefore missing a small fragment of the terminal. The mount is plano-convex and has two integrally cast pointed lugs on the reverse; there is a small irregular hole which is possibly the result of a casting flaw or corrosion. Post medieval cast copper-alloy rectangular shoe buckle with drilled frame for a separate spindle. The ends are extended into points and there is a moulded groove running along the front of each point. The frame is arched in profile. There is a copper alloy stud chape and tounge attached to the central spindle. with a dnetral expansion on each side to lod the iron spindle. This buckle is 35.8mm long, (with chape},18.2mm wide, 3.7mm thick at the widest point and weighs 5.98 grams.
A similar example can be seen in Whitehead (2003) page 100 no.630, which he dates to c.1660-1720

Medieval cast copper alloy single looped buckle. The frame is rectangular in plan and oval in cross section. The sides slightly wider than the pin bar and front bar. The pin is complete. It is D shaped insection with a flat back and is wraped around the pin bar. The opposite end narrows to a point. The buckle is 24.1mm long, 39.6mm wide, 3.6mm thick and weighs 13.63 grams. The pin is 27.5mm long. Whitehead (2003) illustrates a similar simple frames p.26 which he dates to c.1300-1500 AD.

An incomplete cast copper alloy Post Medieval rowel spur, probably dating to c. 17th century AD. The remains of the spur consists of the neck, one side of the rowel box and one complete arm and one incomplete arm of the heel band; the rowel and one terminal are missing. The neck is oval in cross-section, narrowing to form the rowel box, which would have had originally two sides, only one side survives; it flares out and downwards and has a circular small rivet in situ. A fragment of a cast copper-alloy object, probably a Medieval to Post Medieval buckle frame. It is possible that this object is a fragment from a double loop asymmetrical buckle with moulded decoration on the loops, dating from AD c. 1575-1700. The remains of the object consists of one portion of an outer loop, which is trapezoidal or rectangular in shape with roughly straight edges; two of the angled edges of the fragment are decorated with a globular knop each. A complete lead alloy musket ball dating to the Post Medieval period, dating from AD 1600-1800. The object is sub-spherical in shape and slightly irregular with a semi-circular holllow on the surface, suggesting the object could have been fired. It is cream and light grey in colour. The object is 13.5 mm in diameter and weighs 13.49 g. The mass suggests that it was used in a small musket (Harding 2012).

A complete Post Medieval cast lead alloy circular unifaced token. Powell Type 2. On one side is the raised initials P. The other side is blank. The token measures 21.9mm in diameter, 5.6mm thick and weighs 11.42grams. Lead tokens had a wide variety of uses and were made locally; they are therefore hard to date precisely. Those with intials are thought to be Post Medieval in date, c. 1550-1800 AD.

An incomplete cast copper alloy Post Medieval double loop oval buckle, dating from AD c. 1500-1650. The remains of the buckle consist of one of the oval loops, still attached to the strap bar, which is flanked at either end with a small moulded knop; a simple copper alloy wire pin is still attached to the strap bar. One loop is missing.
It measures 14.3mm long,19.1mm wide, 3.1mm thick and weighs 2.58 grams. Whitehead (2003) illustrates a similar buckles p54 which he dates to c.1500-1650 AD.

A bent copper alloy finger ring inscribed with the words 'fears god', probably dating from the 17th-18th centuries AD. The ring has a plain and undecorated band; the inscription is in all lower case italic script and is positioned within the inside of the band, roughly opposite a small vertical solder line, which would have joined the band into a ring. The band is very thin, with a narrow D-shaped cross-section. The ring measures 24.3mm diameter, 3.8mm wide, 1.73mm thick and weighs 2.47 grams.
