Copper alloy button. Cast composite plano-convex uniform button, probably imitating the form of a livery button. A billeted border surrounds a finely horizontally lined field on which, in strong relief, is depicted a flag flying at its flagstaff. The flag bears a saltire whose arms separate the lettered legend: W / & / J / Co. The flat back bears indistinct manufacturer's details and a drawn wire loop passes through it. Suggested date: Post-Medieval to Modern, 1850-1920.
Diameter: 16.3mm, Thickness (clear of loop): 5.7mm, Weight: 2.77gms.
