A medieval copper alloy bee-hive thimble of the 'beehive' type, which dates between circa 1350 and 1500 (Holmes, 1991). The thimble is domed with slightly flared sides and a raised, rounded 'tonsure' top with a perforated hole in the centre. The bee-hive pattern of dots is difficult is irregular. The thimble is 13mm in height, 19.90mm in diameter and weighs 1.93 grams.

A copper-alloy strap end dating to the second or third century AD. The strap end possesses a sub-triangular attachment loop. This extends to a circular-section body which expands towards its middle and then tapers before terminating in a spherical end knop. The body is corroded. The strap end measures 42mm in length, with a maximum width of 16mm. The strap end weighs 3.8 grams. Bishop notes that strap ends of this type are frequently misidentified as being 'Apron' fittings. Sheet copper alloy composite strap-end with a forked spacer and a single rivet below its trefoil attachment edge with two triangular notches. The opposite end has a rounded knop at its terminus. Some of the original leather strap probably remains within the earth that is trapped between the two plates. The rivet and forked spacer have also survived intact. Egan & Pritchard (2002) illustrate similar strapends on page 142, fig.93, nos.660 & 663, which are dated from c.1350-1450. Griffiths, Philpott and Egan (2007) illustrate similar strapends on page 135, plate 23, nos.1550 & 160…
