Incomplete medieval sub-rectangular copper alloy buckle frame with convex sides and offset narrowed bar, pin missing. Three filed grooves at the centre of the broad outside edge. Cf. Egan and Pritchard 1991, no. 438. There are, however, no ridges near the corners. Extant length 15.5mm. Width 20.5mm. 2mm thick. c.1350 - c.1400.

An incomplete cast copper alloy buckle dating to the Medieval period. The object is sub-rectangular in plan. The majority of the buckle frame is missing and a fragment of the integral box chape remains along with the strap bar. The strap bar measures 26.69mm in width and just below is a circular perforation which would have housed the pin. The perforation measures 3.19mm in diameter. 14.55mm below the strap bar the object is decorated with two transverse ridges where it separates forming a split end where it terminates with a break. A copper-alloy buckle of Medieval date, c. AD 1350-1400. A single loop buckle with off-set bar and obliquely angled projections emerging from the side of either end of the bar. The pin is missing. An incomplete copper-alloy double-looped buckle frame of Medieval date. It is missing the pin. The frame is D-shaped in section with a slightly expanded outer edge. The bar is central and trapezoidal in section. This buckle frame measures 21.48mm in length, 18.42mm in width, 2.35mm in thickness, 2.30g in weight. There are similar examples from London (Egan and Prichard, 1991, p. 83, no. 337, 339).
