An incomplete and partially corroded Medieval copper-alloy annular buckle (c. 1250-c. 1450).

This buckle is generally dark brown with a dark green patina where the surface is not corroded.

There is a similar example from London (Egan and Pritchard, 1991, p. 70, no. 271).

Almost complete medieval gilt copper alloy spur buckle with remains of an iron pin loop. The frame is trapezoidal, wider at the outside edge, in the centre of which there is a triangular notched boss. Between the frame and the main part of the plate, which is also trapezoidal but wider at the inside edge, there is a short neck-like narrower part with a pin hole.
