An incomplete Early-Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) cast copper-alloy Style 1 possible disc mount, possibly from a shield boss (c. 500-c. 600). This zoomorphic object is incomplete, the sides being absent due to damage. There is no means of attachment at the rear which is plain and flat. However, it may have possessed rivet holes further out towards the missing rim or could have been fixed by solder. An incomplete and broken post-Medieval cast copper-alloy asymmetrical buckle frame (c. 1575-c. 1700). The pin is missing. The frame is convex at the front and flat at the rear. It has one rectangular and one 'D'- shaped loop. At the centre of the 'D'-shaped loop the inner side projects inwards in a point forming a wider area. An incomplete and partially corroded Medieval copper-alloy annular buckle (c. 1250-c. 1450). The pin is missing. The frame has no restriction for a pin. Consequently, it has been classified as a buckle rather than a brooch (Egan and Pritchard 1991: 57). It is circular in plan, oval in cross-section and possibly due to wear, is thinner in one area. An incomplete and worn Roman cast copper-alloy trumpet brooch (AD 75-175). The pin and mechanism are missing. This brooch is strongly arched in side profile. The head is trumpet shaped and has an incomplete integral lug behind which held the pin mechanism. Decoration on the head is barely visible due to wear. However, two pointed-oval cells for eyes can be seen, one at each side. Each eye would have probably been filled with decorative material, but none has survived.
