A complete post-Medieval cast copper-alloy mount (c. 1600-c. 1700). This mount is an openwork cross fleuretty in shape. From the centre, four arms project outwards and their ends form a trefoil fleur. The outer petals curl over inwards and touch the petal of the next fleur. The rear face is flat and has two integral tapering spikes, circular in cross-section. This mount has a shiny green patina at the front and is drab green at the rear. A complete and slightly misshapen post-Medieval cast lead or lead alloy circular uniface token (c. 1500-c. 1850). Powell Type 14. The token has a raised plain cross with a pellet in three quadrants and a double pellet in the fourth quadrant. The other side is plain. This token is buff on both faces. Diameter: 15.0mm. There is a pair of moulded grooves at the outer ends of the bar, and a median rib on the round-section bow. A possible core rejuvenation flake, probably Mesolithic or Early Neolithic in date. The subtriangular piece has a longitudinal curvature and what appear to be parts of several parallel blade removal scars on the dorsal surface, plus some of the flint's original cortex. A Mesolithic flint burin, made from a secondary flake. The piece is subcrescentic, has several ridges on its dorsal surface and diffuse rippling on the ventral. The burin's point has probably been created by blunting of the area adjacent to the bulb. In addition, there is an area of invasive retouch at the distal end. Other serrated and notched edges appear to be the result of natural damage. The flint is lightly patinated and retains a small portion of the cortex. Length: 34.6mm; width: 13.5mm; thickness: 5.3mm.
