A complete post-Medieval cast copper-alloy mount (c. 1600-c. 1700).
This mount is an openwork cross fleuretty in shape. From the centre, four arms project outwards and their ends form a trefoil fleur. The outer petals curl over inwards and touch the petal of the next fleur. The rear face is flat and has two integral tapering spikes, circular in cross-section.
This mount has a shiny green patina at the front and is drab green at the rear.
Diameter: 18.3mm; thickness: 1.6mm; thickness including spikes: 6.3mm. Weight: 2.08g.

A complete cast copper alloy barrel tap key (handle) of the post-Medieval to modern date, circa1700 - 1900. The key has an oval bow,circular-sectioned stem and hollow bit with triangular cross section.. The key has an even green patina and is in fine condition. Length of key: 55.72 mm. Incomplete Roman copper alloy Colchester Derivative brooch, pin and lower part of bow missing. There is a pair of moulded grooves at the outer ends of the bar, and a median rib on the round-section bow. The wings are tubular (cast and not folded) and at the rear there is a gap, set just off-centre, in which an incomplete four-coiled spring around an axis bar is visible, cf.
