A fragment of a wheel thrown vessel of Roman date (AD 155-410). The ceramic sherd is the pedestal base from a jar of Nene-valley colour coated ware and is sub-circular in profile and plane-convex in section. The fabric is fine, light grey in colour with a soft gritty texture. Some sparse dark mica inclusions are visible. The sherd has a heavily abraded dark grey slip covering both inner and outer surfaces with the upper surfaces being heavily abradedThe base has been underscored. Similar to YORYM-0450D1, LIN-CE9655 and BH-4A8217. The diameter is 35mm and the weight 16.49g.

A fragment of Roman tegula. It has an orange coloured fabric with frequent fine inclusions, and occasional large sandstone inclusions. There are frequent irregular large voids. The tile is slightly curved, and probably part of a roof tile. Similar to KENT-78A153, LVPL-D1CE42 and ESS-4D10B4. The length is 63mm, the width is 42mm, thickness 15mm and the weight 32.52g.

A fragment of Roman tile with combed decoration on one surface possibly a ceramic flue tile fragment. The fragment is an irregular four-sided shape with one probable original edge present. The combing consists of sic diagonal and two vertical lines probably for keying in mortar.. The tile is an oxidized orange colour. Similar to HAMP-F6E3D1, LON-4C9A07 and HAMP-5C30D2. The length is 90mm, the width is 65mm, thickness 25mm and the weight 139.87g.

A lead alloy bun shaped possible steel-yard weight. The object is circular in plan and D-shaped in cross-section. The base of the object is slightly concave. In the top of the object is a large sub-oval hole. The object has a deep irregular groove running around its circumference close to the base of the object. It has a light brown patina. Weights such as this one can be of Roman through to Georgian in date. The diameter is 20mm and the weight 27.37g. Similar to SWYOR-C8C2D6, LVPL-D1FDDE and WILT-6DA484

A lead alloy weight of probable Roman date, c. AD 43-410. The weight is lozengiform in profile and circular in plan. Both the top and bottom of the weight show signs of iron corrosion where a suspension loop would have been attached with an iron bar through the centre. Similar to LIN-E179EE, SF-F67BEA and LANCUM-F045E2 Length is 78mm, width 38mm, thickness 23mm and the weight 52.52g.

Cast copper alloy waisted buckle plate 'D' shaped with rounded end 13th to 15th century AD. The buckle plate has 3 rivet holes and the pin is intact on the buckle frame. They were used widely for horse equipment. Very similar to No 48 in Whtehead. R. 2003. Buckles 1250 - 1800. Greenlight. Witham, Essex. The length is 36mm, the width is 16mm and the weight 2.40g.

Cast copper alloy double loop asymmetrical buckle 1575 - 1700 AD. Bevelled edge inside and outside with a lobed protrusion either side of the strap bar. Very similar to No 564 in Whtehead. R. 2003. Buckles 1250 - 1800. Greenlight. Witham, Essex. The length is 25mm, the width is 15mm and the weight 2.09g.
