A complete copper-alloy mount of Post-Medieval date. It is D-shaped in section. The central panel is rectangular and 4.15mm in width. One terminal is circular with a triangular knop. The other has an expanded transverse collar defined by a transverse groove. This connects to two circular lobes defined by a U-shaped notch. Before each terminal is a separate copper-alloy trapezoidal rivet. This mount measures 36.80mm in length, 9.99mm in width, 1.61mm in thickness, 2.01g in weight.

An incomplete cast lead circular cloth seal of probable Post-Medieval date. Only part of the top and bottom disc survive, the remainder of the object is missing due to old breaks, now worn. It is flat. The front face of one disc is decorated with the letters T P with the date 1590 above. The second disc is decorated with the remains of a circular ridge. This cloth seal measures 15.33mm in diameter, 2.87mm in thickness, 2.39g in weight. There are similar seals recorded by Egan (Egan, 1995, p. 169, no. 53). However, no direct parallels could be found.

A complete copper-alloy circular thimble or sewing ring of probable late Medieval to early Post-Medieval date. It has a slightly thickened rim with circumferential groove at the bottom and the top. The sides have diagonal rows of drilled circular indentations. This thimble measures 15.99mm in height, 20.17mm in diameter, 2.14mm in thickness, 8.07g in weight. There is a similar example from London (Egan, 1998, p. 267, no. 820).

Incomplete, abraded and bent medieval copper alloy oval buckle frame, large trapezoidal expansion on the outside edge with slight lobe at both angles and offset, narrowed bar (missing apart from stumps). The sides are curled inward and back toward the outside edge. The expanded outside edge has traces of transverse engraved lines. Length (bent) 22mm. Width (bent) 28mm. Cf. Whitehead 2003, nos. 111-2; Margeson, S. and Williams, V. in Ayers 1985, fig. 24 no.7. 13th century.

Overall the candle holder measures 126.93mm high and weighs 108.06g. The rim of the cup has a diameter of 22.49mm (internal diameter 19.79mm). The rim is 1.46mm thick. The recess of the cup is concave and c. 47.28mm deep and retains some soil, however, the stem appears to be hollow. Dark grey flint knife. Oval knife with abrupt hard hammer working from various directions covering both sides. There is a suggestion of battering along one edge of what may have been the dorsal aspect, to judge from the curved profile of the flake. Dr Kevin Leahy kindly suggests that the low angle retouch should suggest the identification of this object as a knife, rather than a scraper, which was the initial suggestion advanced by this reporter. An incomplete tinned copper alloy Roman mandolin shaped spoon dating to the period c. AD 43 - 410. It is an example of Crummy's Type 3 'Spoon with Mandolin Shaped Bowl'. The spoon is missing the stem, which would have been offset from the bowl. The bowl is 0.73mm thick. The metal thickens to 3.75mm at the junction with the stem at which point it terminates in an old break. Copper alloy vessel fragment. Leg from a ewer or cauldron, of sub-triangular section with a rounded longitudinal rib, and with a horizontal rib above a slightly everted foot which resembles an animal foot with three or four pads. The slightly hollowed back may suggest the leg was cast in an open mould as a preliminary to its attachment to a vessel. The back is sooted from use on a hearth.
