An almost complete Early Medieval Anglo-Saxon strap end, c. 775-1000 AD. The strap end consists of a sub-rectangular plate which has long sides that bow outwards then taper to form a zoomorphic terminal. The strap-end bifurcates at the top, with two pairs of opposing rivet holes, which are very slightly damaged on the lower plate. The upper surface is decorated with a rectangular panel of incised cross hatching. Heavily decorated cast copper alloy ring. The loop is circular in plan, in section it is 'D' shaped - the inner face is flat, the outer is slightly convex. The external decoration is recuse (recessed) comprising a series of panels marked by vertical lines containing what appears to be flowers, stems and leaves, possibly representing snow drops (?). An incomplete Medieval cast copper-alloy circular pendant seal matrix (c. 1300-c.1400).
The cone-shaped handle has six facets that form a hexagonal shape in cross-section. It has an incomplete oval-shaped suspension loop with an incomplete sub-circular perforation. Below the loop there is an indistinct double parallel collar. The face of the die is sub-circular and the device is in the form of an engraved or incised plain equal-armed cross. There is no border or inscription and the cross is not perpendicular to the handle.

An incomplete cast copper alloy (bronze) dagger fragment of Middle Bronze Age dating (1400 BC to 1250 BC).
The dagger fragment is sub rectangular in plan with a lentoid cross-section. Each edge of the object is incomplete and there are no remaining rivets or rivet holes. Each face is undecorated. The cutting edge is 1.64mm thick.
The blade has a smooth dark green patina. Each face has areas of pitting due to abrasion, caused by movement whilst within the plough soil and is corroded in places.
