An incomplete and worn post-Medieval cast copper-alloy spherical animal "crotal" bell (1770-1813). The sub-rectangular suspension loop at the top is 11.9mm high, 17.1mm wide, 4.9mm thick and has an inverted 'D'-shaped perforation. The upper and lower hemispheres are divided by a prominent horizontal circumferential joining rib. About half way down the side of the upper hemisphere, at either side, there is a circular sound hole. Two sound holes in the lower hemisphere are integral with a sound "slit". The upper hemisphere is plain and the lower hemisphere has a 'sunburst' design. …

An Anglo-Scandinavian sub-circular domed strap distributor with three large kidney-shaped apertures (one of which survives partially). The faint worn decoration dividing the apertures comprises three lobe-like forms linked together with possible double-strand knots. This distributor appears to be part of an enseble with socketed hooks of similar date. See egg BH-F2B177, NMS-7E8916, LIN-F29FC4 (on which hooks partially survive), and DUR-35F474.

The central decorative element from a circular enamelled brooch of late 10th to 11th century date (Saunderton type). The circular component is divided into a scrolling cruciform pattern with separate cells of red, blue and white glass made using a cloisonne technique set into a backing plate with integral raised sides. The rest of the brooch, catchplate and pin are missing. The brooch may have been gilded but there is no trace of gilding on this fragment.

Post medieval copper-alloy trapezoidal buckle frame, dating from AD c.1620-1680. The frame is double-looped with the sides curved inwards towards the narrowed strap-bar, the whole plane of the buckle frame is curved inwards from side-to-side so that the frame edges are more prominent than the strap bar. The outer edges of the two loops are asymmetrical in their design with one having much more prominent lobed knops which flare outwards than the other. The pin is missing. A similar example can be seen in Whitehead's, 'Buckles 1250-1800', 2003, p83, number 527.

A complete copper alloy mount dating to the post medieval period (AD 1500 - AD 1900). The mount is circular with ten raised, swirling arms radiating from the centre and forming a scalloped edge. The reverse is undecorated and slightly convex, with a broken and worn central shank for attachment.Several mounts with very similar designs have been recorded on the PAS database: CORN-2A9A31, BERK-6107F2 and LEIC-15D224. These has been assigned varying dates, hence the broad date range given to this example. The diameter is 30mm and the weight 9.58g.

Part of a Post-medieval rowel spur dating 1640 to 1700 AD. It is incomplete consisting of a fragment of a lateral figure-eight terminal that was tinned, the lower hole has a copper alloy attachment and residue of an iron stud for the undersole leather. Very similar to figure 499 in Read. B. 2000. Metal Artefacts of Antiquity: A Catalogue of Small Finds from Specific Areas of the United Kingdom. Volume 1. Portcullis. The length is 46mm, the width is 15mm thickness 5mm and the weight 5.50g.

A cast copper alloy leaf-shaped peg-hole spearhead of Ehrenburg 1977 Class V, which has a simple leaf-shaped blade. It can be dated to the late middle Bronze Age - late Bronze Age, Penard - Ewart phase c. 1200-750BC, (Needham period 6 - 7). The spearhead has a leaf-shaped blade with two peg holes. The blade has a pronounced central mid-rib (extending from a conical socket). The blade has been damaged along the edges, it curves and angles a little more sharply at the tip which is rounded and the socket is broken at one edge close to a peg hole.
