Post Medieval lead alloy cloth seal, of two disc type, from Augsburg. One disc survives with the integral central rivet which previously held the two together. The edge is broken and torn at one point where the connecting strip has broken away along with the second, ring shaped, disc, the damage is the same patina as the rest of the fragment. An incomplete Post-Medieval (AD 1650-1800) toy pistol. The toy consists of the butt,which is decorated with diagonal lines, barrel and lock which is cast in an elaborate foliate style. The long cylindrical barrel is hollow and the end appears to be missing. It is cast in a mininum of two pieces, with the butt then attached to the trigger section; however it is possible that this is a later repair. A medieval lead papal bulla of Pope Gregory IXth (AD 1227-1241). The object is sub-circular, with a small flattening at the bottom at the point at which the cord would have emerged having travelled vertically through the bull from the top in an internal pipe, now filled with corrosion product. This pipe is indicated by a raised line on the reverse. The obverse bears the inscription GRE/GORIVS./PP.VIIII. in three lines, within a pelleted border (omega above the 'P's; V for U). Two complete lead alloy Post Medieval musket balls, with attached sprue and casting waste, dating to AD 1600 - 1800. The balls are sub-spherical, with sub-cyclindrical sprues extending from the top of each ball, casting seams are visible on both the shots and the sprue. The sprues are connected to a sub-rectangular, flat piece of casting waste, which is sub-triangular in cross-section. Overall, it is light grey in colour and has an uneven and pitted surface. It measures 26.5 mm in length, 9.7 mm wide, 18.0 mm thick and weighs 17.8 g.
