A complete and worn Medieval silver long cross cut farthing of Henry III (1216-1272), minted by Iurdon (Jordan) at Winchester. Class 3a-3c, 1248-1250 (North 1994: 226, refs: 986-988).
Obverse: [ ]REX[ ]; Crowned bust facing without sceptre
Reverse: IVR/[ ]/[ ]/[ ]; Voided long cross with three pellets in each quadrant
Length: 9.0mm; width: 7.4mm. Weight: 0.32g. DA=12:1-2.
