Incomplete medieval sheet copper alloy rectangular buckle plate with pin slot, frame recesses, three rivets (one near the slot and two near the inside edge), and a line of rocker-arm engraving running parallel to both sides and edges. Parts of the sides and inside edge are missing. 38 x 11.5mm. Length and width of the rear part 35 and 8.5mm. 13th - 14th century.

Extant length 39mm. Width 15.2mm (rear part 11.8mm). c.1200 - c.1450.

An unusually large and robust cast copper-alloy pin with an expanded head, probably from a Medieval annular buckle, now detached from its frame. It is solidly cast, with a cross-section in the shape of a rectangle with rounded corners. It narrows evenly along its length from 6.7mm by the head to 1.9mm at the blunt point but remains consistantly 4.4mm thick apart from a slight thinning at the point. The head is of unusual form. An incomplete cast copper-alloy Medieval single loop D-shaped buckle and rectangular buckle plate, c. AD 1250-1500. The buckle frame consists of a D-shaped single loop with narrowed and offset strap bar; the pin is partially missing. The frame connects to a rectangular buckle plate by means of the rectangular plate being folded in half around the strap bar, with a niche cut out to accommodate the outer strap bar edges and a circular aperture in the centre of the pin.
