An incomplete silver Groat of Elizabeth I. Long cross fourchee reverse. Cross crosslet initial mark. First coinage. London mint. (1560-1561). The coin is missing parts of its outer flan between 12-1 O'clock and 2-3 O'clock. Most likely due to post-depositional processes. North Vol 2, pg 133, no 1986.
