A silver stater of the British Iron Age. A South Western (Durotrigian) uninscribed stater dating to circa 50 BC -c 20 BC. Obverse of coin: Stylised wreath Reverse: Disjointed and pelleted horse left. The coin is dished and in fine condition with traces of copper oxide staining. Diameter of coin: 18.97 mm. Thickness: 2.54 mm. Weight: 4.624 grams. Reference: IOW-035588.
