A post-medieval copper-alloy Nuremberg jetton of Hans Krauwinckel II (active 1586-1635) dating to 1586-1635. Rose/orb type inscribed GOTES SEGEN MACHT REICH. Minted at Nuremberg. A complete copper alloy crotal bell of post-medieval date. Both hemispheres of the integrally cast bell remain in tact separated by a median band which was intended to imitate the earlier two-piece crotal bells. A rectangular suspension loop with central perforation projects from the top of the bell and is flanked by two sounding holes. The lower hemisphere bears an elongated ovate sound slot and the loose iron pea remains in-situ and functional. The metal has a mid blackish-green patina and is worn. The bell is 41.7mm long, 31.4mm in diameter, and weighs 29.1g.

A fragment of a copper alloy Roman (AD c.43-c.410) possible buckle, consisting of the openwork buckle plate, missing the frame and pin. Overall, it measures 16.5mm long, 14.4mm wide and 2.8mm thick. It weighs 3.61g. The buckle plate is formed from a sub-circular disc joined to an openwork trapezium. The trapezium has three longituninal bars with openwork rectangles between. At the terminal are four broken projections with incomplete circular piercings between each. There probably would have been an integral strap bar connecting the ends of the projections and completing each piercing.…

This gold object is the left half of a partial denture. Brian Williams from the British Dental Association Museum advises that 'it would appear to have fractured in the mid-line so originally there may have been more gold, of a similar size/shape, on the right side making the complete structure horse-shoe shaped. Judging by the surface shapes (circles) we think the structure is cast gold and dental casting didn't become available until the early 1900's. An incomplete, Medieval (c. AD 1100-1500), copper-alloy sheet, sexfoil plate. The plate has a domed centre with a drilled, circular hole for the seperate rivet. The rivet is missing. The six, lobed petals have been created by pressing the sheet metal into shape. The edge is shaped to the outer edges of the petals. There is some damage with a crack across the object and a small piece missing from the edge. See Howsam Type B2 (2016: 47).
