An incomplete flat disc brooch of Roman date (AD 80 -150), the disc is incomplete and damaged and the brooch is missing the catchplate and pin. The brooch is circular in plan and due to the damage and corrosion no decoration is visible. The two lugs on the reverse are complete, the catchplate and pin is missing. The brooch measures 21.05mm in diameter, 18.4mm wide, 5.6mm thick and weighs 1.44 grams.
