An unidentified object of pressed copper-alloy, possibly of late post-Medieval date.
This object is sub-rectangular in plan. It is made of two very thin pieces of sheet copper-alloy and consists of a front and back-plate. The outer ends and the sides of the front plate have been folded to produce a raised corner. Along one long side there is a recess between the plates and the opposite side is crenellated, notched or denticulated. The front plate has repoussé border consisting of scrolls alternating with sexfoils. Within the border there is a herringbone pattern.

Copper alloy cast Early Medieval zoomorphic strap end fragment of Thomas class A type 4. The fragment is in the shape of an elongated triangle with straight tapering sides, a blunt apex and a transverse break across the attachment end. The front face has raised decoration in the form of a beast, symmetrical about its long axis. The terminal end has nostrils and eyes, and the back of the head is set with triangular and lozenge shapes. The lozenge shape adjacent to the broken end has an equal armed cross in its centre.
