Lead seal matrix. This is flat and pointed-oval; there is a latin cross engraved in the centre with a cross saltire in the centre of the long arm. The inscription around the outside is unreadable. On the reverse is a rectangular handle towards the top edge, now squashed. This artefact dates to the 13th century.
