A stone bead of uncertain date. The object is circular in plan with a large central perforation. The internal diameter of the perforation measures 6.84mm. Each face is undecorated. The object has a smooth dark green patina and is scratched in several places probably due to the workings of the plough. Birgitta Hoffmann states: The bead is probably Iron Age. The inclusion of blue beads in Iron Age necklaces is well known, but in some cases blue stones are used.
