Complete Medieval copper alloy lace tag, circa 1300-1500 AD. The find consists of a flattened conical chape formed from folded sheet copper alloy with an open-ended, edge-to-edge seam. A third of the way down the chape from the wider end there are corresponding circular rivet holes that have been pierced in each side of the chape. The tag has a dark brown patina and measures 23mm long.

Skellie record. Post Medieval copper alloy decorated lace tag dating to the 16th-17th century. This is a Margeson Type 2 (1993:22-3) being cylindrical in form, tapering slightly towards the tip, securing the lace along its 33mm length, with both edges folding inwards to grip the lace. A Roman copper-alloy pin. The head of this well preserved pin is conical, tapering to an apex point. Four pairs of parallel grooves divide the surface of the head into quarters, and a groove also extends around the base. The integrally cast shaft extends vertically downwards from the centre of the head's underside; it is of circular section, tapering to a sharp point. A Roman copper-alloy bell shaped stud of Allason-Jones type 1. The solid-cast object has a circular-sectioned lower portion, the base of which is marked by a moulded rim. At the top, the object flares into a dish. A truncated-conical projection extends vertically upwards from the centre of this dish, with a circular depression at the centre of its otherwise flat upper surface. Located at the centre of the object's underside, contained within a rectangular socket, is part of the iron shaft. Diameter: 19.3mm; length: 11.7mm. Weight: 9.38g.

A cast copper-alloy belt mount or harness fitting dating to the late second or early third century AD. The fitting is approximately lentoidal in shape and comprises an openwork design of two adjoining trumpet motifs. The openwork plate is D-shaped in section. On the underside of the openwork plate, positioned at each end where the motifs terminate in trumpet-like terminals, there extend two circula-section lugs, the terminals of which appears to have been hammered flat.
