A copper alloy medieval (AD c.1200-c.1400) harness pendant suspension mount. Overall, the object measures 27.4mm long, 20.4mm wide and 5.0mm thick. It weighs 4.40g. The mount has a foliate outline and is formed from a flat plate (1.7mm thick). At each corner is a diagonally projecting sub-oval lobe. Between the top two lobes is a triangular shaped point. The top corner lobes each have a smaller lobe projecting diagonally outwards and downwards, while the bottom corner lobes each have a lobe projecting diagonally outwards and upwards. An incomplete copper alloy medieval (AD c.1200-c.1400) harness pendant, missing its suspension loop and a small fragment of one edge. Overall, the pendant measures 24.5mm long, 20.0mm wide and 5.7mm thick. It weighs 6.23g. The pendant is in the shape of a circular disc, 2.5mm thick, with the stump of the suspension loop projecting at the top and the facing head of a lion projecting from the front. A worn medieval English jetton, probably a sterling bust type of the 13th to mid-14th century AD. The reverse has a long cross with a pellet in each quarter, in imitation of the silver coinage of the day. The obverse is too worn to make out any design but it is probably a bust of the King, being Edward I - Edward III. These sterling bust jettons date from c. AD 1280-1345.
