A worn and corroded copper-alloy French jetton dating to the late medieval period. The obverse appears to depict the Shield of France while the reverse bears a variant of the single stranded cross flueretty. No exact parallel could be found for the reverse design on this jetton but a similar jetton has been recorded on this database (BH-96E4B), where the recorded suggests that similar illustrated by Mitchiner (1988; pp. 201) date this jetton to the 15th century, probably struck during the reign of Charles VII (c. 1447-1461 AD)..
