A copper-alloy double-sided coin weight of a Hungarian dukat dating to the Post-Medieval period. The object is flat and square in form with worn surfaces. The front face depicts a standing figure, St. Ladislaus, within a beaded circular border, holding an orb and axe. The reverse is worn.
A similar example can be found in Withers and Withers (P and BR Withers, 1995, p. 23).

A copper-alloy double-sided coin weight of a Hungarian dukat dating to the Post-Medieval period. The object is flat and square in form with worn surfaces. The front face depicts a standing figure, St. Ladislaus, within a beaded circular border, holding an orb and axe, the letters H D to the sides. The reverse carries a maker's mark comprising of a hand within a circular beaded border, flanked by the letters [A] I.
A similar example can be found in Withers and Withers (P and BR Withers, 1995, p. 23). The hand on the reverse indicate that it was produced in the Low Countries at Antwe…
