Cast copper alloy mould for casting trade tokens dating from c. 17th-18th century. This is probably a mould for bifacial tokens, given the recessed securing points for a reverse face as well as the presence of both a reverse and obverse design. The tokens would have been inscribed R C or R G on the obverse and with a crown(?) or tree (?) on the reverse.There are letters or numbers on either side of the tree/bushel on the reverse, which possibly relate to the number or a certain weight.
