The object is a double-looped asymmetrical buckle frame o a Post Medieval date (c. AD 1575-1700). In plan the buckle is sub-rectangular, divided in the centre by a trapezoidal sectioned strap bar. The loops have a sub-triangular section. One loop is trapezoidal in plan. The loop has a moulded beaded terminal edge. The other loop is a 'D' shape in plan, with two knops on the exterior edge. Around the strap bar is iron corrosion, suggesting the pin was made of iron, but has since corroded away. The surface is abraded and slightly corroded.
