A lithic implement formed from a flake of probably the late Mesolithic to Neolithic period (-6500 to 2100). The implement has the bulb of percussion missing as this proximal end has been obliquely angled and has abrupt re-touch on the dorsal surface. The distal end is horizontal and also has abrupt re-touch on the dorsal surface. Along the lateral edges, at th distal end, on the ventral surface there is slight, low-angle retouch which on one side forms a notch. The opaque flint is a mid red/brown colour with no patination or cortex. It measures 30.67mm long, 28.45mm wide, 4.9mm thick …
