An incomplete post-Medieval copper-alloy strap fitting for a sword belt (1600-1700). This fitting is in the form of a hooked mount. However, the hook is missing due to a break. Prior to being broken, the maximum width would have been at the top where it was tri-lobed. It has a waist below and beyond the waist the sides flare and then taper to the transverse break. Post Medieval (mid 16th to 17th centuries) strap mount: The copper alloy strap mount is a sub drop in plan with a a small integral knop at the upper edge and an inverted lis at the lower edge. The reverse is undecorated and has two integral studs which are square in section and taper to a point. Both studs are bent over towards each other. The surface of the mount has a mid grey coloured surface. It measures 23.18mm long, 8.44mm wide and 6.31mm thick, weighing 1.5g. A fragment of Roman (AD 43-410) ceramic building material in the form of box flue tile. The fabric is sandy and oxidised, and the decoration comprises either combed or rolled curved, parallel grooves. It measures 81.64mm long, 73.15mm wide, 29.67mm thick and weighs 236g. Box flue tiles were used to create flues in the walls of building, through which hot air generated by the hypocaust system would pass. The linear grooves decorating the surfaces are keying to improve the adhesion of wall plaster.

The reverse of the head is flat and has an integral circular sectioned shank protruding from the centre. The shank, which is straight, tapers to a sharp point. The fragment comprises a small portion of the circular-sectioned spoon stem, connected to its hook-shaped decoration, which would have connected to the spoon bowl, now completely missing. The fragment is flat, save for the stem and t-shaped section at the break where the fragment would have connected to the bowl. Both flat surfaces have been tinned. The fragment measures 19.6 mm long, 10.6 mm wide, 1.74 mm thick and weighs 1.1 grams.

A complete lead trade weight of medieval to post-medieval date. The weight is shield shaped and is decorated on the upper surface with a crowned fleur-de-lis. The reverse is flat and undecorated. Lead weighs such as this were commonly used to weigh goods under the averdepois system from 1390 in England and were used throughout the 15th century. It is likely that these weights represent a desire to standardize the trade weight system. A slightly damaged pointed oval lead seal matrix dating to the medieval period, c. 1100 to 1350. The object is pointed oval shaped in plan with a sub-rectangular projection from the reverse which in some other cases has a hole through it to act as a suspension loop. The back of the object is undecorated. The front of the object features the central motif of an eight pointed star with a crescent moon. The inscription reads [S']THOE FIL ALANI (possibly translates as Seal of Thoe son of Alan).

The pendants central design is openwork with an integral perforated suspension loop set at ninety degrees to the pendant proper. A lead fragment that is possibly a component part of a flintlock or a binder probably for a knapped gun-flint from a flintlock musket of post-medieval to modern date. The flintlock was introduced in the middle of the 16th century and became the main regulation firearm for the British Army during the reign of William III. A complete copper alloy rotary key of Post-Medieval date. The key is comprised of a hollow, circular sectioned shaft with a triple banded collar to the bow end. The bow itself is lozenge-shaped with a large circular hole at its centre and four rectangular knops projecting from the centre of each edge. At the opposite end of the shaft the integral bit projects. The metal has a dark reddish-brown patina and is worn. The key is 54.3mm long; the bit is 17.8mm long, 12.6mm wide and 5.6mm thick; the bow is 20.5mm wide and 2.6mm thick. The key weighs 13.4g.

The main plate consists of a moulded relief and open work design featuring a spray of three small flowers radiating from the top of the plate.
