A complete post-Medieval cast copper-alloy mount (c. 1600-c. 1700). This mount is flat and heart-shaped in plan. At the rear, along the longitudinal centre-line are two tapering spikes, one at each end. These are rectangular in cross-section. The mount is green with traces of a dark green patina. There are flecks of iron staining at the rear. Height: 21.6mm; width: 12.3mm; thickness: 1.9mm; thickness including spikes: 4.6mm. Weight: 1.99g. An incomplete post-Medieval cast copper-alloy hooked or looped mount (c. 1600-c. 1700). The hook or loop is missing due to an old break. This mount is sub-trapezoidal in plan with a double cusped edge at one end. It tapers towards the opposite end where there is a break. The mount is broadly flat and has a central longitudinal groove on its upper surface; the rear surface is plain and slightly concave. A complete copper-alloy casket key of the early post medieval period, (circa 1600-1700 ). The key has a kidney shaped bow with two internal projections in line with the solid stem. The stem has a flaring collar collared below the bow with a single transverse rib to and bottom. Beyond this the stem is narrowed from the collar and tapers very slightly to the blunt, projecting tip. The rectangular bit has a single cleft with a worn leading edge. A very worn cast copper-alloy buckle frame of Medieval date. It is as Meols type 2 with D-shaped frame, opffset and narrowed bar and expanded outer edge that is circular in section. The pin is missing due to old breaks and all of the surviving surfaces are extremely worn due to post-depositional corrosion. It measures 24.29mm in width, 16.01mm in length, 3.66mm in thickness and 2.08g in weight. This buckle frame is of Medieval date, c.14th century AD (as Egan and Pritchard, 1991: nos. 271, 277).

A cast copper-alloy ring of uncertain Medieval or later date. It is annular in form, hexagonally in cross-section, with signs of use-wear at top and bottom edges of the ring. All surfaces are extremely worn due to post-depositional damage. It measures 24.70mm in diameter, 2.19mm in thickness and 1.88g in weight. This is a simple cast copper-alloy ring that may have performed a variety of functions ranging from a simple buckle to a strap fitting or curtain ring. It is likely to date to the Medieval or Post-Medieval periods, c.12th-17th centuries AD.
