A cast copper alloy decorated hawking whistle. The object has a zoomorphic projection from the whistle body, which has the appearance of a bird. The bird features a long curved beak, circular incised eyes and a repeated incised pattern indicating feathers. At the top of the head of the bird is a crest with moulded grooves at each edge. A fragment of a shard from the rim of a vessel, of Roman greyware, dating from AD 43 - 410. The object is curved in profile and the rim is rolled. The fabric is coarse, of a dark grey-brown colour with frequent small inclusions. The internal fabric is the same colour as the external fabric indicating that the vessel was evenly fired. Greyware is a common type of Roman pottery and was common during the 1st and 2nd centuries, but continued in use in some areas into the 4th century.

A cast copper alloy two piece swivel probably dating to the Medieval period. The object has a D-shaped loop which measures 13.48mm in width and a smaller circular loop measuring 8.86mm in diameter. The join between the two loops is oval in section with a collar running around the circumference. The two halves are connected by a socket on the base of the larger loop and a bolt on the top of the smaller loop, the end of which is cone shaped. The collar is decorated with four circumferential grooves. The object has a blackish green patina and is in good condition.

An incomplete cast copper alloy rowel spur dating to the Post-Medieval period, (1500-1700). The spur is formed of two curved arms, both of which are incomplete, the neck and box of a rowel spur. The arms are D-shaped in cross section and curved. The neck of the object is lozenge shaped in cross-section and curves downwards towards the split terminal. A cast copper alloy harness pendant dating to the medieval period. The object is heater or shield shaped in plan with a transverse projection loop at the top. The loop has an internal diameter of 2.11mm. The remains of a heraldic device can be seen on the outer face. The pendant appears to bear the blazon 'gules, three lions passant guardant. A small area of gilding remains on the tail of a lion. The object has a dark green patina. A pair of cast copper-alloy dividers of Post-medieval date. They are mathematical or surveyor's dividers and have a globular knopped handle at the hinge. There is a small ridge just below the knop on the outer edge of each of the arms. The upper sections of each arms is flattened and one is recessed to accomodate the other. The arms then become d-shaped in section. There are some decorative facets on the inner edges of the arms near the flattened upper section. A cast copper alloy double looped oval buckle dating to the Medieval period. The object is incomplete. The outer edge of each frame has been damaged and there is no visible decoration. The pin is complete and remains attached to the strap bar. The object has a mid-brown patina and is in fair condition. Similar examples can be found in Whitehead, (2008), p53, and are dated c.1350-1650. The size of the object indicates that it would have been used as a shoe or a knee buckle.

A cast copper-alloy bridle bit link of Early Medieval date. It has a lozenge shaped terminal at one end which is oval internally and sub-rectangular in section. It has a knob on three of the corners. The fourth corner tapers into a D-section connecting arm with a rounded moulding. Beyond this moulding the arm flares into a circular terminal which is circular internally at the other end which is also sub-rectangular in section.

A cast copper-alloy book fitting of Medieval date. It is rectangular in shape and flat. At one end it is recessed to form a hook and at the other it flares into a trilobate design. There is a central circular hole at the flared end for a seperately cast rivet which is missing due to old breaks. The front face is decorated with three rings around the rivet hole and two ribs with five dots and two quadrilobed shapes between.

A cast copper-alloy clapper bell of Medieval or Post-medieval date. It is a cone shape and has an integrally cast semi-circular loop on the top which is pierced by a circular hole. There are a series of triangular holes around the top edge. The clapper is present but is no longer attached due to old breaks. The photograph was not taken by the recorder and due to the angle accurate measurements can not be provided.
