A complete Late Bronze Age or Early Iron Age copper alloy Votive Model of a miniature wheel dated to c. 1000-500 BC. The wheel is circular in plan with a trapezoidal shaped 'axel' from which four spokes radiate before joining the outer rim. The rim of the wheel and the spokes are rectangular in cross section. There is a circular perforation in the centre of the axle which appears to have been drilled. An incomplete Post Medieval copper alloy dress hook of probable c. AD 1600-1700 date. The hook has a rectangular plate and flat in cross section. There is a rectangular attachment perforation at one end of the plate and the remains of the hook shank at the other. The hook has been broken away by an old break. The front surface has been decorated with moulded foliate designs. The reverse is undecorated. An Early Medieval copper alloy cruciform mount of 6th to 10th century date. The cruiciform if formed of four projections emanating from a raised convex boss in the center. The projections all have concave sides and have rounded terminals. Each terminal has been perforated with an irregular circular rivet holes, all of which retain an iron rivet. A complete Medieval lead personal seal matrix of 13th-century date. The matrix is circular and flat. On the front there is a stylised eight point star in the centre surrounded by a crudely engraved legend that is not deep enough to create a prominent impression. It appears to read + S' IOh'IS FIL' h - WISIE (Seal of John son of Hawise or Helwise). Many letters are not clear, but the final E is very obvious. A complete Roman lead alloy steelyard weight, of proable c. AD 43-410 date. The weight is biconical in form, although it is slightly irregular. There is an iron attachement lug at one end of the weight. It measures 30.5mm in height, 49.1mm in maximum diameter and weighs 164.20grams. An incomplete Medieval cast copper-alloy prick spur (c. 1250-c. 1350).The goad, neck and part of each of the sides have survived. The sides are sub-oval in cross-section and the neck is lozenge shaped in cross-section. The goad is a square-based pyramid shape. The spur is 26.3mm long, 11mm wide, 2.3mm thick and weighs 19.5 grams. A similar spur has been published: Ellis 1995: 133, fig. 90, ref: 321, in Clarke (eds.) and dated 1250-1350.
