An incomplete iron possible girdle hanger or symbolic key of Early-Medieval date. It is missing part of the suspension loop due to old breaks, now worn. It has a long shank which is rectangular in section and terminates with the remains of the now missing suspension loop. The terminal is split with two upturned prongs, which are rectangular in section and bend forward into oval shaped knops. This creates the letter 'W', with the central stem being the main shank. There is a rectangular hole at one end. This contains the remains of a separate iron rectangular bolt. At the opposite end is a sub-circular bar which is turned upwards to form a U-shape. This chisel measures 81.94mm in length, 19.54mm in width at the head, 16.69mm in width at the stem, 11.03mm in thickness at the top of the stem, 3.18mm in thickness at the base of the stem, 46.20g in weight. An incomplete copper-alloy oval plate brooch of Roman date. Only the central boss survives, the remainder of the object is missing due to old breaks, now worn. The front face has a central hollow, still containing traces of red enamel. The back face is flat and has traces of the adhesive that would have connected it to the now missing brooch. This brooch measures 13.92mm in length, 11.24mm in width, 3.59mm in thickness, 2.10g in weight. There are similar examples recorded by Hattatt (Hattatt, 1987, p. 257, 1207-1208).

The main body is convex and oval in shape with a central circular rivet hole towards the base. At the top there is a transverse ridge connecting to a circular attachment end, with a central circular rivet hole and a projecting circular knop. At the bottom there is a double transverse ridge before terminating in old breaks. This strap fitting measures 35.22mm in length, 14.42mm in width, 4.38mm in thickness, 4.31g in weight.
