A complete fleur-de-lis shaped harness suspension mount of Medieval date.
It is D-shaped in section with a flat back face. There is a pair of opposing circular rivet holes, one still containing a separate copper-alloy rivet with a flattened round head. The front face of the fleur is defined by two diagonal grooves. At the base of the mount the fleur expands into a transverse rectangular collar with a pair of V-shaped notches in the centre. At the base of the collar is a double pierced lug. There are traces of gilding on the front face. The back face is undecorated.

An incomplete Medieval cast copper-alloy prick spur (c. 1250-c. 1350).The goad, neck and part of each of the sides have survived. The sides are sub-oval in cross-section and the neck is lozenge shaped in cross-section. The goad is a square-based pyramid shape. The spur is 26.3mm long, 11mm wide, 2.3mm thick and weighs 19.5 grams.
A similar spur has been published: Ellis 1995: 133, fig. 90, ref: 321, in Clarke (eds.) and dated 1250-1350.
There are similar prick spurs illustrated in Prick Spurs 700-1700 (Ellis 2002. Finds Research Group).

A complete rectangular copper-alloy mount or strap fitting of Medieval date.
It is D-shaped in section with a flat back face. Both ends are sub-square with rounded corners defined by decoration consisting of a transverse ridge and a pair of U-shaped notches. In the centre of each square is a circular rivet hole, one still contains a separate copper-alloy rivet with a flattened round head. There is a projecting oval knop at the top. A complete Roman lead alloy steelyard weight, of proable c. AD 43-410 date. The weight is biconical in form, although it is slightly irregular. There is an iron attachement lug at one end of the weight. It measures 30.5mm in height, 49.1mm in maximum diameter and weighs 164.20grams. An incomplete cast copper alloy Roman disc brooch dating to the second century AD. The brooch is circular in plan and is decorated with two fields of coloured enamel. The outer concentric field has the remains of a dark (now black) enamel. The centre of the brooch has raised cell edges that form an curved, open-armed cross. Each cell contains red enamel. A Roman ceramic rim fragment, possibly of a Vectis Ware (variant), unclassified form. c. AD 300-c. 375. Tomalin 1987: 30-40.
The rim sherd of this small bowl is mid-grey with an orange core and is tempered with felspar, crushed flint and grog. The breaks are fresh.
Height: 26.9mm; width: 29.7mm; maximum thickness: 10.1mm. Weight: 13.13g.
When complete the outer diameter of the rim would have been about 8cm.

A cast copper alloy harness pendant dating to the medieval period. The object is heater or shield shaped in plan with a transverse projection loop at the top. The loop has an internal diameter of 2.11mm. The remains of a heraldic device can be seen on the outer face. The pendant appears to bear the blazon 'gules, three lions passant guardant. A small area of gilding remains on the tail of a lion. The object has a dark green patina.
