An Early Medieval copper alloy cruciform mount of 6th to 10th century date. The cruiciform if formed of four projections emanating from a raised convex boss in the center. The projections all have concave sides and have rounded terminals. Each terminal has been perforated with an irregular circular rivet holes, all of which retain an iron rivet. The central boss is decorated with four small drilled circular perforations. The reverse of the boss is concave and appear of show signs of gilding. A complete rectangular copper-alloy mount or strap fitting of Medieval date. It is D-shaped in section with a flat back face. Both ends are sub-square with rounded corners defined by decoration consisting of a transverse ridge and a pair of U-shaped notches. In the centre of each square is a circular rivet hole, one still contains a separate copper-alloy rivet with a flattened round head. There is a projecting oval knop at the top.
