Silver coin. Halfpenny of first reign of Henry VI (1422-1461), annulet issue of 1422-1427, Calais mint, North no. 1435. Obverse description: Bare-shouldered or mail clad bust facing with tall crown, annulet by each shoulder. Initial cross V (North 1991 page 73). Scored across face. Obverse inscription: +[--]NRI[---]ANGL Reverse description: Long cross, three pellets in each angle, two opposed quarters with annulet in centre of quarter. Reverse inscription: VIL/Lax/CAL/ISx, saltire punctuation. Diameter: 13.8mm, Weight: 0.39gms
