It is D-shaped in section with a flat back face. There is a pair of opposing circular rivet holes, one still containing a separate copper-alloy rivet with a flattened round head. The front face of the fleur is defined by two diagonal grooves. At the base of the mount the fleur expands into a transverse rectangular collar with a pair of V-shaped notches in the centre. At the base of the collar is a double pierced lug. There are traces of gilding on the front face. The back face is undecorated.
This harness mount measures 32.83mm in length, 18.59mm in width, 2.81mm in thickness, 5.32g in weight.
There are similar examples recorded on the PAS database (HAMP-4A5718), (SWYOR-FD1C04). However, no direct parallels could be found.

An incomplete cast copper alloy openwork harness fitting, a probable cheek piece from a bridle fitting of the late Early-medieval period (11th century AD). The object is Anglo-Scandinavian in design and is a fragment of a larger fitting. This is likely to be one half of the cheek piece, the other side of the plate was probably symmetrical with a central hole and a projecting arm for the attachment to the leather harness strap (Williams 2007:2). The plate is faintly decorated in what is probably Jellinge Style, with a curled beast apparently consuming its own tail. This was a common decorative theme during this period. This example is probably a Williams (2007) Type 1. Similar examples recroded on this database include SF-BC3504, SUSS-2D5753 and ESS-C06D96, BERK-801C92.

A cast copper alloy harness pendant dating to the medieval period. The object is heater or shield shaped in plan with a transverse projection loop at the top. The loop has an internal diameter of 2.11mm. The remains of a heraldic device can be seen on the outer face. The pendant appears to bear the blazon 'gules, three lions passant guardant. A small area of gilding remains on the tail of a lion. The object has a dark green patina.
These are the Royal Arms of England, issued during the reign of Richard I (AD 1189-199) and not altered since. It is likely that this pendant would have belonged on the harnesses of horses belonging to retainers or workers of royal lands and estates during the 13th and 14th century AD.

A worn copper-alloy as of Claudius, contemporary copy, c. 41-54 AD (Reece period 2). Reverse: Illegible, Minerva advancing right brandishing shield and spear. Uncertain mint. Robert Kenyon, following on from the work by the French scholars P-A. Besombes and M. Bompaire (in Trésors Monétaires XXI, 2005), is working through the British examples of Claudian coinage recorded through the PAS assigning many so-called Claudian contemporary copies to Roman auxiliary mints which operated at Lyons (Gaul) and in Spain. This example is a native copy.

A cast copper alloy double looped oval buckle dating to the Medieval period. The object is incomplete. The outer edge of each frame has been damaged and there is no visible decoration. The pin is complete and remains attached to the strap bar. The object has a mid-brown patina and is in fair condition. Similar examples can be found in Whitehead, (2008), p53, and are dated c.1350-1650. The size of the object indicates that it would have been used as a shoe or a knee buckle.

A cast copper alloy decorated hawking whistle. The object has a zoomorphic projection from the whistle body, which has the appearance of a bird. The bird features a long curved beak, circular incised eyes and a repeated incised pattern indicating feathers. At the top of the head of the bird is a crest with moulded grooves at each edge.
At a right angle to the body of the whistle is an incomplete handle which measures 12.68mm in length. At the top of the object the sound hole is C-shaped in plan. The mouth-piece is convex at the top and concave on the underside to accommodate the lower lip of the player, resulting in a narrow, semi-circular inlet hole.
The object has a dark brown patina and is good condition.

A Roman brooch of Colchester derivative,Polden Hill (flat wing ends type, Western Group), cf. Mackreth 2011, 5.a4. Plate 50, no. 1585. (AD c. 80-120): The incomplete copper alloy brooch has wings which are semi-cylindrical terminating with perforated wing caps. The wings are decorated with two pairs of double-stranded linear grooves on each. At the junction of the wings and bow head there is an integral perorated lug which holds the chord in place. Only a fragment of a copper alloy axis bar remains, and only three coils of the spring remains. The pin is missing. The bowhead is hump-like in profile and decorated with a vertical ridge on the upper portion only. The bow is sub-oval in section, and tapers to a blunt foot. On the reverse there is a complete, solid catchplate. The surface of the brooch has a well developed dark green patina. It measures 34.62mm long, 22.32mm wide across the wings and weighs 7.5g.
The brooch is a Polden Hill type. Bayley and Butcher (2004:160) comment that the distribution of Polden Hill brooches are concentrated in the West Midlands and suggest they date to AD 80 to 120.

A complete Late Bronze Age or Early Iron Age copper alloy Votive Model of a miniature wheel dated to c. 1000-500 BC. The wheel is circular in plan with a trapezoidal shaped 'axel' from which four spokes radiate before joining the outer rim. The rim of the wheel and the spokes are rectangular in cross section. There is a circular perforation in the centre of the axle which appears to have been drilled. The upper surface of the model is covered with striations in one direction which appear to have been creating by an abrasive surface. The reverse of the modle is not decorated.
The model is 21.8mm in diameter, 1.9mm thick and weighs 2.50 grams.
On the record for HESH-C53CF4, which is very similar to this example, Peter Reavill writes:
"This form of artefact is relatively rare and the PAS has only recorded one other example from Thimbleby, Lincolnshire (DENO-0BBA52). Images of this artefact were sent to Dr Adam Gwilt at NGMW, Cardiff. Dr Gwilt suggested that similar comparable artefacts had been recorded in the late Bronze Age / Early Iron Age assemblage from the votive site at Flag Fen, Peterborough, amongst the Iron Age Salisbury hoard, and also the Hounslow Hoard. A fragment of a cast copper alloy Roman trumpet brooch dating to the first or second century AD. The brooch has a head loop and three moulded ribs mid-way down the curved and tapered bow. The lower part of the brooch with the foot and the catchplate is now missing, as is the pin. It is unclear from the image if this is a hinged or springed brooch. Trumpet brooches with head loops date from c. AD 75-175.
