Copper alloy brooch of Colchester derivative, Polden Hill (Mackreth 2011, Part 3, Group 2.b2, flat wing ends, Plate 45). Rearward facing lugs on either end of the wings that would have held the pin axis bar (the right wing is truncated). Three sets of double vertical bands decorate the front of the wings, a double recessed band runs down the front of the head and most of the bow. The catch plate on the reverse is truncated. The bow of the is distorted and bent back on itself. Date A.D. 50-60.

A complete fleur-de-lis shaped harness suspension mount of Medieval date. It is D-shaped in section with a flat back face. There is a pair of opposing circular rivet holes, one still containing a separate copper-alloy rivet with a flattened round head. The front face of the fleur is defined by two diagonal grooves. An incomplete cast copper alloy openwork harness fitting, a probable cheek piece from a bridle fitting of the late Early-medieval period (11th century AD). The object is Anglo-Scandinavian in design and is a fragment of a larger fitting. This is likely to be one half of the cheek piece, the other side of the plate was probably symmetrical with a central hole and a projecting arm for the attachment to the leather harness strap (Williams 2007:2). The loop has an internal diameter of 2.11mm. The remains of a heraldic device can be seen on the outer face. The pendant appears to bear the blazon 'gules, three lions passant guardant. A worn copper-alloy as of Claudius, contemporary copy, c. 41-54 AD (Reece period 2). Reverse: Illegible, Minerva advancing right brandishing shield and spear. Uncertain mint. Robert Kenyon, following on from the work by the French scholars P-A. Besombes and M. Bompaire (in Trésors Monétaires XXI, 2005), is working through the British examples of Claudian coinage recorded through the PAS assigning many so-called Claudian contemporary copies to Roman auxiliary mints which operated at Lyons (Gaul) and in Spain. This example is a native copy.

A cast copper alloy double looped oval buckle dating to the Medieval period. The object is incomplete. The outer edge of each frame has been damaged and there is no visible decoration. The pin is complete and remains attached to the strap bar. The object has a mid-brown patina and is in fair condition. Similar examples can be found in Whitehead, (2008), p53, and are dated c.1350-1650. The size of the object indicates that it would have been used as a shoe or a knee buckle.

A cast copper alloy decorated hawking whistle. The object has a zoomorphic projection from the whistle body, which has the appearance of a bird. The bird features a long curved beak, circular incised eyes and a repeated incised pattern indicating feathers. At the top of the head of the bird is a crest with moulded grooves at each edge. A cast copper-alloy bridle bit link of Early Medieval date. It has a lozenge shaped terminal at one end which is oval internally and sub-rectangular in section. It has a knob on three of the corners. The fourth corner tapers into a D-section connecting arm with a rounded moulding. Beyond this moulding the arm flares into a circular terminal which is circular internally at the other end which is also sub-rectangular in section.

A complete Late Bronze Age or Early Iron Age copper alloy Votive Model of a miniature wheel dated to c. 1000-500 BC. The wheel is circular in plan with a trapezoidal shaped 'axel' from which four spokes radiate before joining the outer rim. The rim of the wheel and the spokes are rectangular in cross section. A fragment of a cast copper alloy Roman trumpet brooch dating to the first or second century AD. The brooch has a head loop and three moulded ribs mid-way down the curved and tapered bow. The lower part of the brooch with the foot and the catchplate is now missing, as is the pin. It is unclear from the image if this is a hinged or springed brooch. Trumpet brooches with head loops date from c. AD 75-175.
