An incomplete cut sheet copper alloy probable Medieval to Post Medieval (1400-1600) probable book clasp, missing one terminal and with damage to the other terminal. It appears to have no decoration. The object is an elongated diamond-shape 13.65mm wide and 1.09mm thick, with a jagged but worn break to one of the elongated ends. At the opposite end a collar 2.83mm wide and 14.66mm in length flanks the expanded terminal, 11.60mm wide at the collar and 51.08mm wide at its worn crenellated edge.
