An incomplete cut sheet copper alloy probable Medieval to Post Medieval (1400-1600) probable book clasp, missing one terminal and with damage to the other terminal. It appears to have no decoration. The object is an elongated diamond-shape 13.65mm wide and 1.09mm thick, with a jagged but worn break to one of the elongated ends. At the opposite end a collar 2.83mm wide and 14.66mm in length flanks the expanded terminal, 11.60mm wide at the collar and 51.08mm wide at its worn crenellated edge. A cast copper alloy jews or jaws harp of the late Medieval to late Post Medieval period. In plan, the jews harp consists of a sub circular head and two tapering arms, both with the characteristic lozenge-shaped cross section. The arms are complete. The rabbet is located at the apex of the head, but is missing the iron tongue, which would have been used to sound the insrtument. This jews harps date to between c. AD 1400 and 1700. An incomplete cast copper alloy Roman disc brooch dating to the second century AD. The brooch is circular in plan and is decorated with two fields of coloured enamel. The outer concentric field has the remains of a dark (now black) enamel. The centre of the brooch has raised cell edges that form an curved, open-armed cross. Each cell contains red enamel. In the centre is a raised circular disc of copper alloy. The outer edges of the brooch are damaged and mostly missing.
