A fragment of a cast copper alloy single looped buckle dating to the Medieval period. The outer edge is expanded and decorated with a groove either side of the notch for the pin and another grove at each end which continues over the top and onto the opposite face. The sides of the buckle, strap bar and pin are missing. The object has a dark green patina. The object can be dated from c. AD 1350-1400. A similar example which can be found in Whitehead, (2003) is p27, no. 135.

Fragment of a modern copper-alloy barrel tap. The fragment forms a faceted collar with oval opening at both ends. A square panel projects from the collar. The fragment is from the spout-end of the tap, as can be seen on the far left of the object in th photographs accompanying CORN-16A1E1. Bailey (1993) illustrates a barrel tap with a similar T-shaped tap key and spout on page 62, No.18, which is dated from the 18th to the mid 19th century.
