A miscast lead spindle whorl of Medieval date, c. 1200-1500. The spindle whorl was intended to be conical with a hole through the centre, but it has been miscast and is an irregular C-shape in plan. Both faces are decorated in dogtooth formed of raised lines.

A cast lead spindle whorl of Medieval date, c. 1200-1500. The spindle whorl is biconical with a hole through the centre. Each face is decorated, but differently. One face bears six panels separated by a raised line, with two panels each bearing in sequence one raised dot, two raised dots, and three raised dots. The oppositie side also bears six panels, but each of these contain four raised dots, and two parallel lines circumvent the central hole, connecting the dots and panels.
